SA: Woman killed in SA road accident
A 49-year-old woman has been killed in the Adelaide Hills when a car crashed into an
electricity pole.
The crash this morning took the state's Christmas-New Year road toll to three.
Police say the woman, from Parafield Gardens in Adelaide's north, was a passenger in
a car which failed to safely negotiate a bend on a road between Ashbourne and Meadows
about 4.30am (CDT).
The car's male driver is in a serious condition at the Flinders Medical Centre.
