Former NBA star Vlade Divac plans to run for president of Serbia's Olympic committee.
The former Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings center says he wants to help "create conditions for (good) results of our sportsmen."
Divac already works as an adviser for the Serbian government. His candidacy for the Olympic Committee was put forward on Friday by Serbia's Basketball Association.
After retiring from basketball, Divac moved to his native Serbia where he has a business and runs a humanitarian organization.
